Campaign types

DripDrop offers a number of different types of mail campaigns. Use the descriptions below to learn about each campaign type.

New customer campaigns

Stores looking to grow their customer base are best served by new customer campaigns. This campaign type mails to households within a target radius of the store location and aims to convert new customers through offer redemptions. Visits are linked back to the redeemed campaign offers, and you can view the results of the campaign within the dashboard.

New mover campaigns

Many older neighborhoods experience a significant amount of turnover, while developing neighborhoods see impressive growth. For either reason, the households around a store location that have new residents can be targeted in a new mover campaign. This has the same conversion goal as a new customer campaign but is specific to those who have recently moved into the area.

Lost customer campaigns

Lost customer campaigns aim to reactivate past purchasers who have not visited the store recently. DripDrop will help determine who to target in the course of one of these campaigns based on the length of time that has elapsed since the last purchase. A lapsed customer is one that has not made a purchase in at least 4 months. This may be too short of a time to consider the customer lost, but it is still a customer to watch out for and encourage to return to the store. Overall, though, the focus of lost customer campaigns is mainly on those who have not purchased in the past 8-24 months. You may see the results of these campaigns within the dashboard, and a map of lapsed/lost customers is available on the Location detail screen.

Holiday/one-time campaigns

Holidays, store anniversaries, grand openings and re-openings, and other special events may be used as the themes for one-time promotions. These may be sent to prospects as well as existing customers.
